Pickles

Alright, I KNOW my title caught your eye. The reason I'm calling this "pickle" is this: o.k., you have probably heard that if you smell an onion and eat an apple at the same time you'll taste onion, it's because your sense of smell overpowers your sense of taste. I tried it last year, but with different objects, known as Pringle wheat pizza sticks and a lemon scented eraser. You can imagine what I did, basically the same thing as the onion and apple. Anyway, at lunch I was with my friends (who I will refer to as Tomato and Pea) talking. Pea and I had school bought food, while Tomato had one from home. Pea is WILDLY CRAZY about pickles and Tomato had some. I told Pea to ask Tomato to smell the bag of pickles and eat something from her burger, and it vaguely taste of pickles. She tried it and I was right,(aren't I always?) so it made me think, if you smelled medicine, such as tablets or the liquidy stuff, would it still work if you ate something like a pear while sniffing it? What I mean is if you smelled medicine would it have the same effect if you were sniffing it and ate something? If so it would open a world of opportunities. Let me know if you find out the answer!

The Wax Museum

You know how my title for this post is,"The Wax Museum?" Well...I've never been to one. They sound cool and all, but I will probably never get to see one-ever. The reason that I chose my title to be what it is, is because my class is doing a project sort of having to do with a wax museum. See, I have to dress up like some famous person from American history, and they had to have had a POSITIVE influence, which means I can't be a terrorist. The reason I'm even posting this is that if you have an idea of who I could be PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE leave a comment for me. So far I can't think of too many good ones, so I think I'll end up going with Rosa Parks, who I think is pretty fearless for not getting off her bus seat and getting arrested, she's one of the many African-Americans I admire for making the U.S.A free. See, I like African-Americans, though I'm not one. So that's pretty much all I have to say about this post!!!

My Awesomely Creative Shoes!!!

O.k. this blog WAS my mom's, but she gave it to me, so I'll be using t from now on. Now that that's out of the way, check this out! These shoes are mine. I know, I know they are WAY too colorful for any parent to like, but I like them. All I did was wait... read my checklist instead of what to get first!

Buy white shoes,
Get Sharpies or "Bic Mark It!"markers,or if you have them Fabric markers,
Newspaper,

And if you want the fabulous footwear book and the "D.I.Y Crafty Diva Stylebook".

With the "Fabulous Footwear" book you can get some better ideas, but I didn't really use it.

So here's my version: With your white shoes put them on your newspaper so you don't stain anything. Then take your "D.I.Y Crafty Diva Stylebook" (or just your imagination) and draw on your shoes with your choice of markers.

The "D.I.Y Stylebook" has easy doodles in the back, or you can use the pictures I posted. Now you're done!
